This guide sets out what each kind of spend buys, what agencies actually publish, what pushes a quote up, and how to set a budget. Before you set a figure, you can get a free visibility check: we run your buyer questions through Google, Maps and seven AI engines, so you only pay to fix the gaps you actually have.
How we gathered these prices
We read the GEO, AEO or AI search pages of the eight agencies in our Dubai GEO agency shortlist on 16 October 2026, and quote each figure in the currency the agency uses. Rupee prices get a rough dirham figure at about 24 rupees to the dirham; that rate moves, so check it on the day. Market estimates for SEO are labelled as such. Software prices come from our AI visibility tools pricing guide, read on 28 and 29 September 2026.
The four things you can pay for
GEO spending in the UAE falls into four kinds, and most quotes combine two or three of them.
- A one-off audit. Someone runs your buyers' questions through the AI engines, records who is named and which sources each engine cites, and gives you a prioritised list of fixes. It is the cheapest way to learn whether you have a problem, and how big.
- A setup project. Fixing the foundations once: consistent business details across your site, Google Business Profile and directories, structured data, and pages that answer buying questions in full.
- A monthly retainer. The continuing work: earning places on the roundups and directories engines cite, new answer pages, and re-measuring the same questions on a schedule.
- Software only. A tracking tool you run yourself. It tells you whether you are named; it does not do the fixing.
What UAE agencies publish
| Agency | Audit | Monthly work | Terms |
|---|---|---|---|
| upGrowth | AI citation audit Rs 5K-35K | Strategy sprint Rs 4L; execution retainer from Rs 1.5L a month; fractional CMO from Rs 3L a month | Prefers flexibility to lock-in periods |
| SEO Tech Experts | Free AI visibility audit | Not published; scoped proposal after the audit | Not stated |
| AUN Digital | Not published | Not published; enquiry form offers budget bands from AED 2K-5K to AED 25K+ a month | Not stated |
| Web Tonic, Global Media Insight, SEO Sherpa, Digital Gravity | Not published | Not published | Not stated |
| High Street | Free visibility check | Quoted in writing after the check | Scope and monthly fee agreed before work starts |
One agency of eight publishes a GEO price. upGrowth prints its whole ladder, and at about 24 rupees to the dirham its audit comes to roughly AED 200 to 1,450, its strategy sprint about AED 16,700 and its retainer from about AED 6,250 a month. It works remotely, with an address in Pune, India. Every Dubai-based agency we read quotes after an audit, a check or a call. AUN Digital comes closest to a figure: its enquiry form asks you to choose a monthly budget band, starting at AED 2K-5K.
What SEO costs in Dubai, for comparison
SEO prices are easier to find, and much of the groundwork overlaps with GEO. SEO Tech Experts' guide to SEO costs in Dubai puts most monthly packages at AED 1,500 to 10,000+, hourly consulting at AED 300 to 800, one-off projects at AED 3,000 to 20,000, and an agency with a full in-house team at no less than AED 3,000 a month. Those are its estimates for the market, for SEO rather than GEO, but they give you a frame: upGrowth's GEO retainer, at about AED 6,250 a month, sits inside that range.
What pushes a GEO quote up or down
- How many engines are measured. Some agencies name four engines; High Street measures seven (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode) and reports each separately. More engines means more questions to run and more sources to work on.
- Arabic. A second language doubles the question set and adds Arabic sources and directories. Ask whether Arabic answers are reported separately or blended in.
- The size of the question set. Ten buyer questions for one clinic cost less to run and report than a hundred for a developer with several projects.
- Outreach and PR. Earning a place on the lists engines cite is slower and costs more than editing your own site, and it is where most of the effect is: in our citation research, 51.5% of 2,061 outside citations in one category came from roundups and comparison pages.
- Your sector. Regulated sectors (health, finance, property) need content checked against the rules of bodies such as the DHA or CBUAE, which adds review time.
- The minimum term. None of the agencies we read publishes a minimum term; upGrowth says it avoids lock-in periods. Get the term and the notice period in writing before you compare monthly fees.
Agency or software?
If you have someone in-house with time to act on the results, a tracking tool may be enough at first. Keyword.com's smallest AI visibility tier is $7.83 a month billed annually, Rankscale Essentials is $20 and AthenaHQ has a free plan. Daily tracking for one brand starts at $29 a month (about AED 107) with Otterly.AI Lite, and Cituna, at $49 (about AED 180), checks seven engines daily; High Street's team also works on Cituna (how we handle that). A tool tells you when you are missing; it does not fix the sources, entity data and pages that decide whether you are named. That work is what an agency retainer pays for. To read a quote, use our twelve questions to ask an AI visibility agency.
How High Street prices AI visibility
High Street does not publish a fixed monthly price for AI visibility work. It starts every engagement with a free visibility check across Google, Maps and seven AI engines, then sends a written quote that sets out the scope, the monthly fee and what is included before anything starts. You keep every account, domain and file in your own name, and the same questions are re-measured weekly with a one-page report each month. The reason for quoting after the check is practical: a clinic missing from Google Maps needs different work from a software company missing from ChatGPT, and the price should match the gaps you have.
How to set a GEO budget
- Start with a check or audit. Free or paid, make sure it is dated, per engine and based on unbranded questions.
- Count the gaps. Missing on one or two engines for a handful of questions may need only a setup project. Missing everywhere means budgeting for outreach.
- Decide on Arabic before you ask for quotes, so every agency prices the same scope.
- Ask each agency for the same three figures: the audit or setup cost, the monthly fee, and the minimum term with its notice period.
- Review after three months against the same question set, engine by engine.
Questions people ask
What is the cheapest way to start with GEO in the UAE?
A free visibility check or audit, then a tracking tool if you have time to act on it yourself; daily one-brand tracking starts at $29 a month. Paid GEO work is rarely priced in public: the one published retainer we found, upGrowth's, starts at about AED 6,250 a month.
Why do so few Dubai agencies publish a GEO price?
Because the work depends on how many engines, languages and questions are involved and how far behind you are. Most quote after an audit. A fair quote names each of those, so you can compare it with another agency's.
Is GEO more expensive than SEO?
Not always. SEO Tech Experts' guide puts most Dubai SEO packages at AED 1,500 to 10,000+ a month, and upGrowth's GEO retainer, at about AED 6,250, sits inside that range. GEO costs more when it includes outreach to the third-party sources engines cite.
